Hi my HW friends.
Working through some tough times.
Not emotional able to read and respond to posts currently, I don't want to end up in Crisis. Therapy is tough, however my therapist is wonderful and we are working through this mire.
I wanted to share some of the things I have been doing the last couple of days that comfort me and renew my spirit outside of Faith.
If this helps someone, even one person, please pay it forward.
* Read Ernest Hemingway. Something you did not do in school. He wrote many books, poetry and even short stories. Some of his letters have been published also.
* Unplug, turn your phone off and watch the movie KEY LARGO. The conversation must be listened to in this movie to receive the full effect.
* Sit in the sun, with you back to the sun. Feel the warmth on your neck and back. Concentrate on the relaxation it produces. Meditate if you want.
* Groom your pet, comb, brush, wash, whatever you like. Clean the fish bowl. Go buy a 2 gold fish for your kids.
* Saute apples in brown sugar and butter, eat.
* open your bedroom windows, get a cuddly blanket and take a nap ontop of your bed cover.
* Listen Bach or Mozart, forget it is classical music, close your eyes and listen to the instruments. Fascinating.
