Hello all

Been a rough week. My sons school has been officially notified of a lawsuit I am filing for mental abuse on him.

His counselor has also removed him from school for the remainder of the year.

I have had to go back on my sleeping pills after 4 days of no sleep at all. This induced panic attacks and very bad anxiety attacks as well.

Depression is at an unseasonable peak. Noramlly summer time is good for my depression. Not right now its not.

I have been super tired and just not in a good space.

I hope everyone is doing okay. I will be back soon

We got a shower of rain this morning. Got a busy weekend. Going out today and tomorrow. Been feeling low since yesterday though. Already did laundry yesterday evening.

Ha Ha F27, Just looked at the hellcat photos. Funny!!!

So a couple nights ago I watched a documentary with US scientist investigating the Charnobal zones. Animals etc. They stated that about 150 people live in the zone do to extreme isolation after the evacuation.

They was treated so badly, they chose radiation to society.

I know that feeling.

Anyway, I can't find that on the Web. However, this link is to the couple the scientists were allowed to interview. They moved back 2 yrs after the disaster. They live 2.5 miles from the site. Scientists were not allowed to get the level of radiation on the couple but the cat, as we say, should have been glowing!

The cottage, does NOT look like that now. Dark dingey and falling apart. Sad. Couple is at least 10yrs older.

Hey ya'all,

Had a great weekend full of outside stuff. I'm remediating the tree bed in our front yard. Step 1 was to remove all of the gravel and fabric we used for hardscaping. So whilst I'm busy remediating the tree bed, it's busy remediating all my atrophied winter muscles.

Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.

The long suffering Mrs. F27 drew me a bath with lots of Epsom salts. Unfortunately we were all out of the unscented salts, but vanilla and lavender are manly scents, right?

Listening to Dixie-land jazz and working. It is gorgeous outside,but cold, cold enough that I am wrapped in a blanket.

Going to the gym after work. If for nothing else,I can get warm in the sauna.*sigh*

Yesterday spent the afternoon at the garden. Some of the seeds I sowed weeks ago are finally coming up--due to the long period of rain and cool weather--everything is behind. Only thing left to plant are my eggplant seedlings. I want to give them another week. We also planted our container herb garden.

Steam cleaner still fun. Will pull it out in a minute. to do the kitchen counter. It's a kinda zen thing.

Internet been funky for a few days. It has been booting me regularly. We are in the middle of the Verizon strike, and cannot get anyone here for a few weeks. The only other choice is more expensive AND worse.

Cranky.

Will go out to the garden in a bit.

Watched a baby bunny die yesterday, which was not fun. I was walking to the gym and saw an adult rabbit in a front yard (really tiny front yards near the street.) Adult was licking and nudging baby, who must have got hit by a car. I watched until adult hopped off.

Been through this many times growing up--farm-raised. Baby bunnies are in a very precarious position--especially in an urban environment. Cars AND predators abound--bored suburban house cats. Tried to save several in my youth.

Sux that you're cranky. I'll be happy enough for both of us today, but you may have to return the favor some time. :) :) :)

Lucy I'm the same at the moment, but I try not to worry too much about not getting much sleep. I think that as long as I get 2-3 hours I can function basically through the day, though needing to take it easier and rest. When I dont worry particularly about it I find that despite the pain I can drop off at some point in the small hours and get a decent stint. Also been taking GABA recently which seems to be helping me stay asleep easier and not keep waking.

I'm feeling quite afraid at the moment, my pain has suddenly got worse since the weekend and is quite bad, I don't know why, though I was very upset over things at the weekend, my therapist thinks it might have something to do with it. I introduced some foods 1-2 week ago and am worrying its something to do with that, but I have to ignore it because its just my anxiety talking and restricting my diet has never helped its just made things harder. I always think this, 2 weeks ago I was worried it was eggs, but I stopped them for a few days and the pain got even worse. I just have to accept there isn't much food-wise I can do beyond being careful like I already am being. But I guess I keep hoping it's food because it makes me feel like I have a little control over it rather than just being a victim of the pains whims.

Trying to stay strong, I am coping with the pain so far and have coped with this and worse over the last few months, so have to keep up that belief in myself that I will cope.

Pitmom your landscaping sounds beautiful. I'm not very artistic when it comes to that stuff, so my input tends to be limited to doing Mrs. F27's heavy lifting. I do enjoy the fruits of her labors though.

Andy, at this point in my life my sleep is dictated by Ambien - not the best route, but it keeps me rested enough to make it through the work day.

Lucy, there's no doubt that the weather messes with my moods too, although I do have an affinity for cold rainy days by the fireplace with a warm cup of coffee.

Booked my first camping trip of the season - Mrs. F27 and I are packing up the cat and hitting the mountains third week in June. It's always awesome to have something to look forward to.

Remember to do at least one fun thing today. Oh what the hell, do TWO!

I hear ya, Pitmom. Your landscaping sounds luscious. I keep saying someday I will have a garden to plan. Seeing more zero-scaping around recently, which is a concept I heartily endorse. The rain is to end here in the mid-atlantic today--though calling for a storm on Saturday. Sun--we need sun!!

BTW-I took seedlings out on Sunday but*might* have killed them. They had set adult leaves--bell peppers and cantalopes. I added some fertilizer to the beds. I went out yesterday and they were burned. Some appear to have been harmed and are coming back--others might be totally dead. Help!! But the marigold and calendula seeds I planted are starting to grow!~ IS the cold affecting your growths?

Andy--It does sound as if some of the pain is from stress and anxiety. I do know I get more fibro pain in those times. I,too,am an ambien user, though it is not my preferred sleep med. But working means I have to have my wits about me.

Grrr. Out at Mom's today working, since I have to have a locked internet connection for security. Ours will be hinky for the next two weeks or so. Waiting for a chick to call me back re: a full-time position to start up in a few weeks. Mom was out of it this AM--when her bus came for day-care. *sigh* I don't want to get old.

Ms. Lucy-Enjoy your time outside and refrain from napping!! Cold here--I am regretting my sandal choice, and about to put on sneakers.Tonight will be a better night.

Ooo, camping trip! I have been debating setting up one for a weekend soon. Convinced the gentleman to do a cycling tour in southern PA in a month--one day 32 miles only. Does your cat enjoy the mountains? Tree climbing? Woods-pooping? You have real mountains--not the wimpy ripples we have around here.

Currently lying on a towel on the dirty floor, reading responses. In the past half hour, I have read a terrific one, one from an ESL writer, and one with truly imaginative spelling but effective prose skills. I 'ought' to go to the gym after work--but really want to stop at the grocery and go home and sit on the couch.
