Anyway, I'm glad you got the paperwork completed ( no pun intended ) getting by.

I must write about a strange development regarding my health. For 15 years i have been taking medication for BHP ( benign enlarged prostate ) only to find out two days ago that my prostate is NOT enlarged, but that I have a smaller than normal opening from my bladder to my privates.

11 yrs ago I was scoped by the same urologist, and back then he confirmed that my prostate was enlaged. After being scoped again two days ago, this same urologist says my prostate is fine and normal ( not enlarged ) but that this small eurethral (?) opening is my problem! I am not impressed. 15 years of taking a drug I dont need , and the decreased libido that goes with this drug!!

I see my family doc on Monday...I sure will have a lot of questions for him!

Anyway , just want to wish everyone a happy day.

PS- yes TIM TAM ,I was very close to my mother. She was an incredibly kind , caring lady. Miss her , but still love the memories.

Stormy night last evening for us, too. Hail, small..about the size of marbles...but they sure were noisy. Also, very windy....and of course, power outage. Hot day again today, and probably for another week.

27- 20 pages? Paper out the ears! I hate to do paper work but most of mine is just an update anymore. Hope all goes well and you can sleep like you are 17 again.

I have been sleeping like a nocturnal animal lately and it is wearing down my health something awful. I sleep all day or nap super late and do it all over. Ugh! I am having major allergy issues as well. I am smoking a pack to a pack and a half a day. I am so tired that is all I want to do is smoke and sleep! Depression is high because of this. I am also a small bit anxious. The heat is back up and so its hot and I need to be by a fan or in front of the cooler now. Ugh I dont like summer.

Another severe thunderstorm overnight ....lot's of thunder and lightening. Got up to observe and....(Karen, you're not going to believe this....) while listening to the storm I thought of Jasmine (HONEST)...and how that dog of yours was spooked by the noise of thunder.

My old dog was scared too...but as he got older, he lost some hearing ....and that lessened the stress for him during his final years.

History tells us that the little @ in email addresses, commonly referred to as the ‘at sign’, stemmed from the tired hands of medieval monks.

During the Middle Ages, before the invention of printing presses, every letter of a word had to be painstakingly transcribed by hand for each copy of a book. The monks that performed these tedious copying duties looked for ways to reduce the number of individual strokes for common words.

Although the word ‘at’ is quite short, it was so common that the monks thought it would be quicker and easier to shorten it even more. As a result, they looped the ‘t’ around the ‘a’ and eliminated two strokes of the pen.

Dearwood, glad to hear that your pain is finally being reduced. I know first hand how chronic pain can mess with depression and energy levels.

Karen, are you thinking of moving to Canada? I presented that to John if Trump won, which I do not think will happen, and he said no. His mother refuses to move at this point. However, if she has to move in with us in the future....

SO A VERY FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY DOWN THE HALL... I was walking to the bedroom to dress for the day and I heard a helicopter over the woods in the back, this usually only happens at dinner time traffic or if a child is missing. So I check the alerts on my phone. I look for the helicopter. I go outside, I don't hear so good.. ha, it must have moved off.

I go back in the house and dang it has come back...

ready for this!!? It was the dishwasher. It is an old dishwasher that came with the house, works fine so why replace it.

My hearing is so bad with my hearing aids, I think the dishwasher is a dang helicopter!!! And I am only 55!!!!.

I'm kinda getting down with wedding plans, done so many I need a break from it all...I just got done with a little sign that says "Cards" for the card box and I'm halfway done with the sign that say "Here comes the Bride." Oh and let me tell ya, I was graphing this and in a hurry to get to the "I" in bride and the graphed chart says "Here comes the Birde" well you just knew the dyslexia would kick in....it was a good funny and luckily it's stitched correctly...
