Trintellix - for anxiety relief

Hello , I know I'm posting in the depression side but this was a suggestion by the forum moderator to
Ask my question here . Has anyone had relief in anxiety from Trintellix ? I'm on day 7 and feel weird and foggy and a little increased anxiety .. and feedback? Thank you

I have never taken it before, but wondered if you told your doctor about the side effects you are having, though it could be from your anxiety too. You could be anxious from having to take the medication in the first place.

I hope you get some answers. I hope that you feel better soon. It may take time for the medication to reach therapeutic levels.

Definitely call your doc.

Side effects most times dissipate with in a few weeks.

I have never taken this particular drug, but others have made me fill the same way for the first couple of weeks.

I was on Brintellix ,and when I look back it never helped.But some of us do not know well how a med is helping.

I get confused as when I look back ,i was left untreated for anxiety and just cured for situational depression.

Has anyone developed Raynaud’s disease with this med? My dr switched me to praxil that I start today after being on trintilex for a year (last dose was a week ago) but the whole time on trintilex, I had Raynaud’s.
Off the med for a week, and symptoms are gone. I liked the med, and am kinda disappointed.

Hi Dingdonghidyho!

I am glad that the Raynaud's disease is gone now. But sorry you had to go off the medication. Maybe the paxil will work for you though. Talk to your doc about an SNRI if it doesn't. They have anxiety properties that help if you have anxiety too..

I hope that things work out. I hope that the Raynaud's stays away...
