What I get out of meditation is freeing of the mind. I think a lot. And that isn't good. When I meditate I basically am able to think of nothing. I use it to go to sleep every night. There is a lot of information out there on the net. Also mindfulness helps. "mindful.org" is a good place to start. I hope that this helps.
