nybody tried Neurostar TMS?

Has anyone tried Neurostar TMS?

I suffer from MDD along with GAD and PTSD. I am very resistant to medications been on them all. Was thinking of going through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Jeanine, I gave your thread a title, so you will get more responses.

I haven't tried only medications but I think that there are others here who can give you some advice. I hope that it works for you.

a placebo product for the rich in private psych hospitals!!! welcome. talk to ya shrink, re: ECT. this is for severe resistant and where your are at risk. it's been around and a proven treatment. and yes i have had ECT, and now me mum has as well.

Jeanine, I have never tried it but please post about your experience and results should you try it and take care.

Hi Jeanine, I have treatment resistant depression as well and have tried everything from 80 different meds to ECT, Ketamine Injections and VNS. Last Friday I started TMS and I am hoping it helps. I have medicare and they are paying for it. Any questions feel free to asksmile

I had 36 TMS (NeuroStar) treatments which ended November 22, I was fine through December. Then it hit me again the depression ( crying, thoughts of suicide etc) So I went back and started on the NeuroStar for 8 treatments which weren’t helping. Now I am having now on the stronger H coil (Brainsway). I have had 6 treatments of 30 and a couple of times I was crying and feeling depressed but all in all I feel better. I am cautiously optimistic. I want it to work.
