Glad you got your sleep sorted Myself. Insomnia for me is the worst, I start getting post traumatic stress from a mental breakdown I had.

Today has been sunny this morning and my bike ride to work was nice. Seeing the therapist this afternoon.

I managed to get to sleep ok last night but waking a bit early again. As long as I get some sleep I'm more content though. Been two weeks on nortriptyline and feeling a bit calmer overall but still not really long enough to ease all my anxiety. I have to increase the dose again to 50mg and then need to wait for the racing heart side effects to ease. I have the beta blockers to get me through a few weeks. I at least know that it does get better as I was on 50mg for a couple of years and it wasn't too bad.

Andy glad things are looking up.

Pouring rain, winding, thunder. Did make it to support group. Felt good to go.

Our rosemary plant died, despite my wrapping it in burlap.

Our dogwood tree was blown over twice, it is pretty young, So tried to save it to no avail. We will have to saw it down. Sad, half of it is sprouting buds. I will cut a small branch and try to root it.

Hello all. We're riding the weather roller coaster here, too! My spring garden is looking great, in spite of the changing weather. Crocus, chiandoxa (sp?), pushkinia (sp?), hyacinths, wind flowers, and the daffodils should be opening tomorrow!

One deep orange amaryllis fully opened with 4 trumpets! Two more are sending up flower buds! Lisa bought me more canna, another day lily and some caladiums and perennial geraniums. Today, I potted the 2 new canna, 2 elephant ears and the new day lily.

I've been following the Good Housekeeping 'Get Organized' magazine, using quite a few of the 'tips' in their 30 day plan. One week in and I'm loving the differences already! They really break it down into small, manageable 'projects'. So far I've done my entryway, hall closet and junk drawer!

I went to 6 different stores, shopping for a rolling cart to put in the hall closet to hold the essentials for the bathroom. I'm thrilled with the one I decided to get...black metal, 3 tiers that reduce in size, on wheels to make it easier to restock. The size reduction means my long summer dresses can hang without getting pushed to the side or crumpled on the ends! Now, I just need one of those 'hanging shelves' units for my sheet sets! It's so not easy to only have one closet that has to do triple duty!

I put up new curtains in the living room and treated myself to 2 new Sterlite dressers in my bedroom. I love how deep the drawers are and how easy they roll in and out!

Hoping things improve for all of my friends here!

Weather is lousy...thirty or more degrees below 'normal'. My heating bill will soar this spring.
No snow, though....so that's a plus. Hope yours disappears soon.

Would the smilers be better if I posted ONE item per day instead of a bunch on just Saturday?

Cold here. Suppose to warm up on Tuesday. I was just out with the dog and it is windy. I think that is why it seems so cold. I am sick of it... Want spring...

Need to go out and feed the birds. They are emptying the feeders daily. Getting expensive.

Thank you Joyce! Many days, your post is the reason I smile!

I had a busy weekend with my partner...bit of a shopping spree!

The organizing magazine tips are really helping me get things in order here! I put up shelves in front of the kitchen windows and now all of my amaryllis have a 'new home' and are off the kitchen counters and the top of the dryer is now home to newly potted plants for the summer garden.

I picked up one of those hanging shelves units with 3 compartments for the hall closet and now have a place for towels and bed sheets!

Replaced the patio chairs I had been using in the living room...with 'new' patio chairs and cushions. So frustrating that 'normal' furniture won't fit through the front door! These are dark metal and I got aqua and white cushions for them. The 'old' ones were getting 'loose' from extended use and besides, they are 14 years old! The new ones are welded and don't fold up so they have a smaller 'footprint' in the room.

Much frustration with my daughter again lately. So much tension here, I can't stand to be home! Today, she called out of work! Looks like I'll be 'out and about' alot today. Grrrrrr.

Looks like the weather will finally change midweek. Can't wait! With overnight temps in the 50's, I'll be able to put all of the primroses outside! My outdoor space is so precious to me...living in such tight quarters and all of the stress involved...I can't wait to be outside more!

Snow on and off today--hoping it is the last of this winter. Garden plot growing apace--just wee tiny spring seedlings up already, but am building the trellises to be ready. My indoor seedlings are going well--tomatoes and peppers huge (even have little buds on the peppers,) eggplants 3 out of 4 healthy, and cucumbers getting ready to be transplanted into bigger pots. I have a little pop-up cover over where I planted the chard--hoping it is on its way!

I really need to lose weight. Stress and comfort eating over the summer when Mom was dying has left its pounds behind.

I need to deal with my taxes--scared due to having to do several different extra forms due to being self-employed. I also need to deal with the MVA, and make sure that everything is good so that I can get my new car easily, when the time comes. I am still browsing through listings--have mostly resigned myself with the idea of a Kia Soul. There are TONS of them around, they are inexpensive and newer, have lots of cargo room, and can be gotten in manual transmission.

Yaw'l wanna know something sad? I ordered bumper stickers already for it. **big grin** There are two which have been on my cars for twenty years--and so they are ready to go. The rest are mix and match--some will go on the car, some on the bike, and some on my garden cart. My new favorite bumper sticker is--

Ugh, I'm cleaning out my office at work. I'm getting some new (at least to me) furniture, so I'm trying to get rid of years of detritus. Not only is my stuff in here, but so is my predecessor's, so it's been challenging to find the bottom of piles. I'm sweating like crazy (thanks Zoloft!), and I smell like the back seat of a discount cab.

F27--I do not miss Zoloft for that reason. Pop in a shower, and keep a suit jacket behind the door at all times ;)

Here is another good bumper sticker for me--Hang on. I need to overthink this. Also--Earth without Art is just Eh.

I miss having strangers give me a thumbs up, a honk, and a wave. I also miss getting to blow kisses at all the rest. I remember once in Virginia, a guy told me liked my bumper stickers, and had always wanted to put some on his car. But, he was afraid someone in his neighborhood would damage his car, or he would be reported at work. You may gasp, but it was Virginia, hotbed of the confederacy. I was unsurprised and glad to not have to worry about it.

Karen-I cannot wait. I started hardening off the tomatoes and peppers today. This weekend is supposed to be a-ma-zing, with highs near 80. Setting up the willow pyramid and planting beans. **grins** Our last frost date is this weekend. Yours must be sometime far later. I hope Hubby is doing better.

Hi Myself,

Our fruit market isn't even open yet. I drove by today though and saw things getting ready. So that is a good sign. I am anxious to buy tomato plants. Our planting time is in May for some things. Peas and things that can handle cold weather. But I probably plant the tomatoes in the first of June. I could be wrong. And it depends on the forecast.

My deer are coming in again. 37 minutes late this time. But they were in earlier. They usually pop in about 8:00 on average.

I hope you enjoy the 80 degree weather. I think maybe 50's for us. Which is good. We have snow to melt. Too warm too soon often leads to storms.
