Had a light frost this morning...the primroses didn't seem to mind. Still no sign from the peas yet.

The flowering quince is finally showing color. Usually it blooms before the forcythias...strange.

One of the new canna plants has sprouted. No signs from any of the other new plants yet.

Following the organizing plan. Cleaned out under the sink and kitchen cabinet yesterday. Put down shelf liner...black on the bottom/floor and an aqua and white patterned one on the shelf. The new bins and totes are working out nicely under there. I also put in a milk crate to create a shelf to make things easier for me to retrieve.

Today, I scrubbed the walls in the hallway in preparation for new paint. Taking the 'day off' tomorrow and hope to get the painting done Friday when I can have the windows open.

Love hearing how spring is arriving in different places! Myself, I can't wait to hear more about this years crops. Karen, love hearing about the deer. Joyce, thanks for the giggles. F27, good to see you. HT, when does the holiday start? Hope I didn't miss too many people and I also hope everyone has a peaceful 24 hrs.

Yah, Joyce. I am in your general area. It is supposed to get very nice after today. We had rain pour down for five minutes earlier--and now it is warming up. I just took the plants outside for some fresh air.

I scheduled a massage for yesterday. We have a local massage school. I worked with a student about to graduate. She worked for almost an hour on my shoulders and neck. Between stressing, working online so much, and not enough exercise, I was frozen in place. I also did my taxes yesterday--it was not as bad as I thought. Just finished all the morning lessons, and will be tutoring here in a bit. I want to head out to the garden today to check on things. I need to get a haircut at some point.

Hi all. Very dreary and damp here today. A major pain day for me. Getting ready to take a nice warm shower.

Thunderstorms tomorrow I guess and then snow (of all things) after that. Cooling. I am sick of it, I want spring to get here, then summer.

Migraine today--and busily working. I will head to the garden before dinner. I am germinating beans. We hit 82 yesterday. It was lovely.

Blizzard here. Wind, snow, sleet. Terrible weather to go out in. Can't see anything to drive.

I hope it ends soon but I think we are getting three days of snow.

Oh Karen...your weather is so terrible, I feel bad for you.

Our weather temps will drop from 80's to the 40's tomorrow...but NO snow forecast
...just a lot of rain on Tuesday

I am staying in today for sure.

Hubby outside feeding birds. They are really eating a lot today because of the weather.

We are going to put suet out for the woodpeckers. They are trying to eat off of the feeders and are too big.

Still snowing here today. We will probably have two to three feet after it is all done. Tomorrow cloudy but three days in a row after that of sunshine. I hope it melts all the snow.

I was thinking petal and stem but couldn't make it to plate. Thanks for the puzzle Joyce.

Good morning folks,
VERY strange situation after midnight. I was awakened by loud voices....still don't know what that was all about, but there was a power failure, and no lights in the entire neighborhood.

This morning everything seems to be back to normal.
My son will be taking me grocery shopping at noon. We'll see if he had the same experience
