Hopefully the side effects will decrease and you will feel better soon. It always seems like it gets worse before it gets better. I know the feeling all too well. At least you know they will go away in awhile.
I think it is worth the try, but you know yourself and how you react to the medication. You would know best if it is worth it.
Do you ever do deep breathing for the anxiety? That is what I do most of the time. Some times I break down and take Xanax, but not very often. But breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth, over and over, will slow down your breathing and your heart beat. That usually brings the anxiety level way down. It is called "smelling the roses and blowing out the candles". I have been practicing it for a long time. It may take a few times, but it seemed to work rather quickly for me. But I meditate a lot and I do abdominal breathing. Breathing like that relaxes me.
I hope you have a good night Faith...
Hugs, Karen...
