Buena, I know how crappy it is to have an outage and be without internet service. I hope it gets fix soon. I so relate to you on the job scene. However, I think you should be proud of the fact that you're searching, unlike me who is unmotivated, and people are calling you for interviews; this shows at the very least that people are interested in your skills, etc. And who knows? This potential employer may hire you, and even if they don't, another job will come along.
Paul_t, I hear you about
age discrimination. It doesn't matter what occupation you have. I find some employers hire younger people/people out of grad school because they can pay them less. It sucks, but there are employers who will hire the most qualified, regardless of age. It definitely helps though if you have connections.
Hi GB, Bnot, HT, and everyone I missed.
I'm still having fears about
taking a higher dosage of my medication, but my anxiety and depression is starting to get out of hand. I talked to my friend about
it, and she convinced me that the pros out way the cons, and that my anxiety about
taking the higher dosage is part of my anxiety disorder in general.
It's so interesting how people, without this disorder, handle their anxiety/depression. Most people are able to bounce out of it, push troubling thoughts down, but I can't without the aid of medication and therapy. My mind is always looking for trouble and the worst case scenario. I hate have these disorder, but I'm trying to change my thought process and look for the positive. It's hard, but hey, at least I'm trying.
