Soz about peeps missing it, ya birthday i missed a sister in August, and was told about it. I missed yours too.
Soz mate. Continued healing for your milestone, i get it aint a priority, know things will slowly improve.
I read my post on bi polar and depression and the changes from the start to now is profound.
You have gifts and talents unique to only you, it a rough time with down turn, with covid and the state of this
planet. We change drivers of change that we have the abilities to assist with, i require my confidence in self to improve and seeking supports for this, and yes more training. Upskilling is the crux, even in peoples fields or crossover fields. I beleive in you, and always make time to keep you in daily thoughts and many others in my practice.

Have you or your sister asked the Administrator of the facility to investagate if she is not going to the bath room and holding her pee, or if she is not being change regularly?
Both of these can cause UTIs.

Weary. I am sorry you're sad. I never have celebrated my birthday, I think 4 times in my whole life.
Family never remembered it. I was an unwanted pregnancy in a nut shell.

I will be sixty this year, in my head I feel 35. My body says I am 70. I choice to believe my mind until my body's batteries run out>. LOL

mum is non ambulant trendy, and can't lift herself her legs are useless.....
thus with her initial gynaeo problems from way back, prolapsed bladder and always sitting the infection
becomes problematic. It is sad, as they are unable to catheter mum to do persistent infections. We kept asking for more walking for mum after her hips done, but the physio or o.t not available and mum has to have two catchers. Mum needs to lose weight to help her.
can't visit as i do not meet the set criteria.....i will see how she doing by calling the hospital tomorrow. HT

I feel like I am just floating along in that space between true depression and not depressed. I have very little motivation and my job search is going very slowly. I am sorry if I am not very upbeat right now.

Hi all. Sorry it's been a few days since my last check in. Started tearing out the old paneling from the hallway to assess the water damage...and it's as bad as I had feared. Son was going to help with the repairs but is having rotator cuff repair on Thursday...not enough time. Then, to top it all off...check engine light is flashing in my truck, so that's going to the shop. Ugh!

On the bright side (because we all love balance)...I found an antique bed for sale, in the style I've been drooling over, for 25 dollars!!! I don't even care that I can't set the whole bed up (sizes were different back then) but I CAN use the headboard! Then, this morning, on my walk...I came across this oversized finial, set out to the curb!!! It now rests atop my pedestal I bought for 4 bucks at the Goodwill a few weeks ago! I am so blessed!

The garden continues to offer up delights for my eyes and my nose. A few last hibiscus, looking like strawberry ice cream cones today will be in full bloom tomorrow. The Montauk daisies have just started opening and look fabulous with the bright orange berries of the pyracanthus bush above them. The mums are open and looking fantastic as I buy the 2 or 3 tones all in one pot. The rex begonia is blooming lovely pink blossoms and my ivy geranium is putting on another show! Butterflies still visit the butterfly bush and morning glories. The hyacinth beans are almost done blooming but their seed pods are a deep plum and lovely to look at, too! The snake root is blooming profusely and has apparently spread throughout my yard. The leaves are starting to turn here, so there are shades of gold, crimson and burgundy being added to the mix. Just lovely!

New to this forum. Strangely enough I really thought I was the only one feeling like this but after reading the posts here it seems universal. How do you get past it all? I've never felt this badly before.
