No energy to do anything

I do but I have fibromyalgia. So I blame that a lot. but lately I have been extra tired. Though it could actually be due to multiple things.

All I know is they recommend walking, relaxing and proper rest. I take Adderall but even that doesn't cut it sometimes.

I think anxiety can make you feel tired too. Stress. Or an underlying health issue.

Have you had a physical or blood work lately? You might want to think about that.

I am not saying depression doesn't cause fatigue because I believe it can.

I hope that you get to the bottom of it and feel better soon.

How are you FP? Are you working now? A lot of people I know including myself have been feeling fatigued lately. Not sure why...

It's an interesting feeling. I think of the mundane things like waking up, showering, brushing the teeth, etc. I begin to feel like a machine going through these motions. I can almost understand the homeless who just say to hell with it. But then the suffering gets worse with the consequences.

That's one thing I can relate to, consequences. Through much trial and tribulation I have learned to live in such a way to prevent future suffering. And I don't do this gleefully. It's like a machine programmed to maintain itself. It's really survival at it's most basic element. I'm really surprised by myself when I do things to prevent future suffering. I think, wow, I just did all that. How did I do that?

But, yeah, I'm tired of it. I feel like one of those people in a survival movie. Stranded on island, or stranded in space. And somehow they just barely get through and make it. But every moment is just one step away from disaster.

I really think that the situation with covid has changed life for all of us. Has made us all feel stranded to some point. I think a lot of us are in survival mode.

I think you are right about that, even apart from Covid. It's probably why these stories and movies resonate with so many of us.

I have also been really fatigued lately. Feel like it came on with time change. Thought maybe I should get a sun lamp? I’m dealing with tickborn infections and depression but my fatigue definitely got worse like 6 weeks ago. I’ve never experienced this much fatigue before even though I’ve been sick for 10 years.

Bloodwork sounds like a good idea. Maybe try a sun lamp. Maybe something with the adrenals or mitochondria not functioning properly. Could try an adrenal boosting supplement or boost mitochondria with acetyl l carnitine. There are other supplements too. Read about it. Some daily exercise to get circulation moving better could help.
We’ve had a ton of cloudy days this Fall. I know I’m affected by that and barometric pressure. I’ve just never been affected on a daily basis like this. Just on rainy or muggy days.
