Greetings to an old board

Do you remember me? Of course you do, I'm a hot liquid drink with milk and no sugar :p

This is going to be a brief post, as I'm tired, but I just wanted to stop by and say hello and see how everyone was doing. Me, I'm still struggling with depression but mostly have a handle on it for now. Just have to hope it stays that way, as the depths of despair and hopelessness is a terrifying place to hang out in. I'm also having Crohn's surgery on the 23rd August to remove my rectum and give me an ileostomy - for life this time (I used to have one but got it reversed a few years ago). Just got sick and tired of the endless urgency and bathroom trips. I would love for this operation to give me a bit more energy as well.

Hi folks :p

I appreciate the kind thoughts and hope that you all are doing as well as can be. I will let you know how surgery goes. If I can't get internet on the ward, I might have to wait until I get home - to be honest, I'd welcome an online break. It would give me a chance to do more reading.

@Trina - Are they emails sent to other people as well? In which case I have seen those, yes. I don't reply but I do check them out.

Take care everyone. I'm off to get a very late dinner now >_>. (Not sensible but I just had no appetite all evening.) I have missed Healing Well and I'm going to try to post regularly once my surgery is over.
