A Forum for teenagers

This medical forum should have a link for teenage depression. I remember my high school years and they were hard very much so, there was this song back then I remember some of the lyrics "no one knows what it's like to feel these feelings and I blame you, nobody fights back as hard on their anger...". That was the song I latched onto as a teenager . My senior year way back then was the hardest. Teenager need a link.

What might be nice is for you to start up a thread specifically for teenagers to post and speak to each other. -- You might also think about suggesting a time when you could all be in chat and talk through things together there. I think both of these things would really take off fast, and would be helpful to a lot of people.

The nice thing about keeping older and younger people together in one forum, though, is that many of us here, while we may be getting more long in the tooth these days (like me!), did have depression as a teenager and can relate with the advantage of hindsight, which I hope offers some extra perspective alongside the direct perspectives of other teens.

I hate to be a buzz kill but it is when teenagers isolate themselves amongst themselves that bad things can happen. I know that teens in support of teens is a good thing but it is also the nature of teens to be secretive and a forum in the absence of an adult (or voice of reason) can hatch all sorts of devistating things. I see both sides of this issue but it would concern me.
