Whenever I try not to start a fight, one always ends up starting anyway! My depression is trying to beat me down, but I keep acting like nothings wrong. I am trying to hide my sadness inside me, but it just makes things worse!

Chad, do you have a way to get some "insight therapy?" Insight into the reasons for your anger will help you to come up with a plan of action. You will also begin to recognize the "symptoms" of the anger brewing before it gets to that point. Self-will is not enough. Our emotions are very powerful. Also, do you have safe people in which to talk about
and show your sadness to? If not, can you talk to a school counselor about
this or a Youth Pastor at a community church? I was depressed at 16 too. I attempted an overdose. Self awareness is the key and not holding it all in. I held it ALL in. I'm 42. We didn't have the internet and their were never commercials for depression so I didn't even know that I was depressed. Their is help out there Chad. YOu can always call the numbers that I gave you before. They are their to talk to hurting people. That is their passion so why be afraid to make that call?
