Robert
I am starting a new thread to get out of the negativity that the other one has.
We got started on the wrong foot..let's focus on your wife now.
Ok, I understand your frustration at not being able to help her. You are at a loss and feel very helpless because you are not even allowed to contact her.
You are blaming this whole thing on a pill, and I have to have you ask yourself one thing.
Why was she on the pills to begin with?
Depression is not something that just appears for no reason. It is triggered by major events in our lives.
In order to treat depression, we have to face what triggered it in the first place. If that is something that your wife can not do at this time then it is going to be a long road for everyone.
Does she have any family/or close friends that could talk to her? Someone that can tell her that everyone is worried about
her and that they wish she would go back to the doctor and get some help?
Facing a loved ones depression is very hard... we often question ourselves because we wonder if we are the ones that caused that depression..
