I am very proud of you and think you are very brave. Please stay on and keep talking with us. There is a catharsis to this, but also do not be suprised if alot of people do not respond because we have all be harmed in some way, and this might trigger for some. So please do not be offended by people's nonresponse. As it is normal, and I for one am thankful and treasure when people do respond. (Plus getting mad at people for not responding is not an effective tool for communication.) While I am not say this at all substitutes for professional therapy, which to anyone in your situation I would highly recommend, because it is such a difficult thing to have happen. Plus it is free in most communities, so please take advantage of it, as well as this site. I hope we can help guild you to some wellbeing and transcendence in your life.

Tennis- I wish there were someone near you that you could tell more to. For instance, you are now 16 and you said this happened "a few years ago," so this actually could be a case of child molestation rather than rape, which would get the person a bigger sentence in prison. You also eluded to something that you and Panike talked about in chat, and I believe I may have guessed what that is. You made comment toward it in another post a while back and it struck me then. It is definitely none of my business, and I could be very wrong in what I believe it to be...so I definitely won't push the issue, just know that you are free to contact me via email, if you wish.

Maybe the teacher that you have been talking to could help you out a bit with the getting to places. I bet your parents wouldn't object to you going to lunch or staying after school with your favorite teacher one day when you just so happen to have a doctor appointment. Then, if appropriate (which I believe it is), you can eventually get the police involved with what has happened to you, finding the perpetrator, and talking to your parents in a way they cannot ignore you or brush you off like you say your mom does.

I really want what is best for you. You have taken a HUGE step by saying this, writing about it, and remembering things. They are all steps toward healing and I am so glad you know that it is NOT YOUR FAULT...the person who did this is wrong on so many levels.

I can relate to your secret. I was 12,it was my mom's b/f and it went on for 2 years before I finally found enough guts to run away from home and never go back

You will be forever scarred because of it,but you can get thru it. Therapy and talking about it.
