I have it also. And I listened to the song years ago when I was going through a lot of stressful events. It kept me hanging on.

SO did I over and over again......that was when they still had record players and records ..........am I old or what .....

It truly i beautiful and does get you thru so many a trial ......

I still have a record player and records. A ton of them. All the good old music. I like a lot of the music now, but can't just go out and buy all of the time. So When I need a change, I just get the old turntable going. LOL...

I wish i did STILL have mine
I have a total collection of all the oldies of course ...........but als maybe I will get lucky at the townwide yardsales this June and find me a record player.........

I find it funny and point out to Cait that alot of songs that are "IN " and HIP now are remakes of the oldies lol....she cannot get over the fact I know the tunes ......not the same arrrangement of course but basically all the same words.......

I was so happy to find a site that had it so I could share. I thought about writing it out, but it is long. I am also happy that you found it appropriate to share with others.

Thank you I've always loved Desiderata. It interesting that nobody knows who actually wrote it, it was found written on the wall of a 16th century church ( or so I believe).

I had heard it was written by monks in the 16th century. Or was it in the 1600's. Anyhow that is all that I know about it.
