Problems Concentrating when Reading

re concentration when reading or should I say lack thereof. I almost get sick to my stomach when I attempt to read a book.

Anyone else? Wondering if this is a depression or a stress symptom.

Does it bother your eyes at all when you read. Sometimes if my eyes are tired, I will feel a little nauseaus. Don't know if it is the same as you though, I will sometimes have a headache too.

i don't know whether it's a symptom of depression or stress, but I have those feelings from time to time... and then at other times, i just start to feel all restless and jumpy. Probably didn't help much but hey. :)

When was the last time you have had your eyes checked? Wondering if your vision is not right,and it is making your eyes stress? I had the wrong prescription with contacts,and I was getting very bad migraines when I tried to read,which also caused horrible stomach aches... just a thought.

Hi Jennica,

I have similar troubles when reading. I tend to hold my breath when I'm concentrating on something. It's usually related to delving into new subject. Makes going through a book quite exhausting. I have been given similar advice about getting my eyes checked.
