amitriptyline and wellbutrin

Anybody take this combination? , If so can you tell me what dosages please?..

My husband take amitriptyline and lexapro. He is depressed from having Lupus, Fibromyliaga, and Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. We are fighting for disability and he has not worked in 3 years. So he has a lot going on. I will say that the amitriptyline is not having a great effect on his mood.

Thanks for your reply, I am taking the amitriptyline for crohn's pain ....I take 10mg...but it makes me soooo
tired....

I am sorry your husband is struggling, it is so difficult.

Carmen,

I have never taken those two meds together but I used the Nortriptylline for depression for many years and it worked like a charm until it petered out. Ugh. I have not found a med yet that has worked
