Hello all. I still feel a little down, but I think the med is really helping. Im in Arizona with my parents, they are here on business and I am bored out of my mind. The fog is lifting a little bit but there was so much drama that happened yesterday that I still am a little sad. Also, i feel lonely, I just realized now that the only friends I have are you guys over here, I do have a lot of friends in the Philippines, but that is a world away and I don't want to bother them. *sigh* i am in need of a miracle today. :(

Dear Trying,

You're doing it!!  You are taking the small steps you need, to get better.  You wouldn't be bothering your friends if you contacted them.  That is why they are friends.  Depression doesn't just go away.  It is a real medical illness that takes time.  You need to be realistic about your situation.  I can't say it enough- just take baby steps.  Even one hour at a time.  Try to find something you can enjoy.  Maybe a new hobby???  I'm so proud of you for sticking it out with the meds.  It is hard to get the right combo.  I'm looking forward to the day you wake up and realize that you feel good.

Hi Eli, I am glad to hear that you are doing well with the remeron.  Keep it up because I think it will really help you.  Where are you in Arizona?  My son went to Univ of Arizona in Tucson and I always had a great time visiting him.  Don't feel you can't contact your friends in the Phillipines.  I am sure they would be glad to hear from you.  You don't have to mention the hard time you are going thru right now just try to sound upbeat and ask how they are.  What part of the country to you live in?  East or West? Are you working?  I can't remember.  Do you have hobbies?  If not try to learn something new that will interest you or join a group where you may meet friends.  You know you always have friends here.  I will always answer your posts.  Try to come into chat Tues afternoon.  The chat schedule is at the right of the website under forum links.  It would be nice to chat with you.  Take care and let us know how you are doing.

Well you have found your miracle..........us.  We our one big group of friends and you can come here and talk to us, we understand.

I am sorry your feeling so bored, how about checking out the cactus. (Just joking)  I have been to Arizona and I had no idea those cactus got so big. I liked the Prickly Pear Cactus.

Prickly Pear Cactus have been a staple food of Native Americans for many centuries. Their large, colorful blossoms appear in yellow, pink, red or purple and grow from the tip of cactus nodules, which later ripen into delicious red fruit. Got a camera, take some pictures. :-)

i will be in chat tomorrow for sure... i am looking into crashing into a depression meetup somewhere here. i know they won't mind. i will also look into the depression meetups in my area in California. I have yahoo messenger, so if anybody out there want to talk, ill be super available. i just want someone else to talk to besides myself hehe as i seem to always bring myself down nowadays... i love you guys!
