Wow, I slept late this morning.   As I said before, if I don't get on in time, and somebody else has a subject that they would like to write about, feel free.  I will run out of topics eventually.

Speaking of getting up in the morning.  The first thing that I do is take my meds, grab some coffee and get on here.

What do you do when you first get up in the morning?

When I first get up in the morning I go outside and smoke then come in and spend some time on the computer.

I smoke too, it seems to go good with the coffee.LOL>...

I want to quit, but have not tried hard enough, seeing I am still doing it.

As soon as I wake up, I open the blinds for some "real" light, and I turn on my favorite music, go to the kitchen to get a drink so I can take my meds... and I have gotten in the habit of going to take a hot bath before getting ready. Not that I dont take bathes! I take mine at night, but lately I have been taking them in the morning. I have an obsession with smelling REALLY good. I love to be around people and they smell really good ya know so you enjoy being around them....well, I want to be one of those people.

One of my friends commented today that she was touching me(we had our arms hooked together walking) But, I have ALWAYS been freaked out by people touching me, even hugs...I think it was just an OCD thing..but now my Paxil has helped that and I hug all my friends and stuff. My muscles used to unconsciously switch and stuff when people touched me and it was like a fear of mine! haha

Wow, I got SO totally off subject! =] Sorry, I tend to talk more now also! Im no longer SHY! :)

I've really never tried to quit even though I know that I need to. I've been smoking for 13yrs not good for someone my age. I was thinking that once I get my insurance maybe asking my Dr for a prescription to really try and quit. I know that I don't want to be smoking the rest of my life! And yes it goes good with the coffee!

I tried Chantix. I think it would of worked if I would have only tried harder, problem is that I like to smoke. Plus I think I smoke more when I get nervous. One right after another if I can. I wish I didn't like it so much. I quit once for four years, then stupidly started again. I have been smoking for over 35 years. Not good at all. Maybe we can support eachother if we decide to quit.

i have started smoking again after quitting for about a month. i think the celexa had something to do with it, and now that im off of that, the urge to smoke got to me. i still have not had a sip of Coke, so that is a good thing. Usually when I get up i get some decaf coffee or tea and head out to bring my little chihuahua pug to do her business. i take my meds with some milk, and then eat bfast. i check my mail and all the other good online things, then watch tv. im a little homebound (no job, working on getting disability), so my days are pretty bare. there is a volunteer orientation at our local animal shelter tomorrow, so if i could bring myself to go, i may be able to volunteer and spend my time more outside (although that thought gives me a little anxiety)!

I think it is great that you are going to the orientation at the animal shelter. I always want to donate time and walk the dogs there, but can't get myself there. It is a short distance away, probably only six miles, but I still don't go. I do have good intentions though. I made Christmas wreaths and donated 400.00 worth to them last weekend. We also give them our bottles and cans. But I think it would be awesome to be around the animals there, especially working with the dogs.
