lexapro

has anyone tried this medication? I just started it and I feel really tired on it. I have heard good and bad things about it. Has anyone else ever tried this med before? Can you tell me if it helped you?

Hi Me on This,

I have just switched from Zoloft to Celexa (which is very similar to Lexapro) and am waiting to see if it works for me. However, in my case, the side effects are significantly less than the Zoloft for me, as the reason why I switched is because they were unbearable. Also, my father took Lexapro for a bit and the side effects were minimal, however, he did not believe it helped his depression.

I would give it a chance; the tiredness may be there for a few weeks while you are starting up and your body is adjusting, but once it kicks in and the initial doseage becomes tolerable, the fatigue may be not as noticeable.
