Hi,
I was told about this site by my Son-in -law. You see my daughter his wife was diagnose with Depression about six weeks ago, they have been having problems over four months now. It went from her leaving their home saying she needs time, coming to stay with me, to only spending a few nights here and there, to now not staying here at all and I have no idea where she is staying. Her Dad asked her in confident, please tell me where you are staying i am worried about you not knowing where you are, she told him (Soon) I have no idea what that means. My daughter thinks that i am on her husbands's side, but I am not on any ones side i want whats best for both of them, she made a good decision when she marry him he is a good husband and i don't want her to just give up on the marriage just like that without giving it another try. What she told me that they are arguing about is just petty stuff things that we all argued over, but it went from that to all negitive things , things that happened long ago before they got married, i say to her is there not anything that is good that you can remember she told me she did'nt want to remember that. We her husband and I start thinking that there is something very wrong with her because this is not the person we know and loved, even before it get this bad i have been asking her to let me take her to the doctor to see what was wrong. Well six weeks ago she came crying asking me to take her to the doctor which i did, hence the knowing she is in deep depression, this is the day after she told her husband she wants a seperation. My problem is the doctor didn't explain anything to her as to what depression is and how it makes you feel and so on, all he said was don't make anyone tell you, you are mad you are not mad and don't split up anything in the marriage and gave her a prescription for Cipralex and told her to come back and see him in 3 weeks.
