Hey it is me again . I was actually talking to my wife tonight and she was called back by the therapist today but they still havent set up an appointment. It is tough because we have to go through who is in our insurance plan. My big fear is my wife says she doesnt know if after she starts getting better if she will ever have strong feelings for me again. I can tough it out for a long time the way it is but it breaks my heart to think that she wont love me again . I am not covered by the insurance so I cant even get any counseling .I feel a little better hearing from others that say they had a hard time feeling love while they were depressed. Is this a common sympton? My wife is continelly apologizing for what she is putting me through but says she just cant feel any love for me or evenherself. I thank God everyday that she is still showing affection for our 2 year old son. I also want to thank those who responded to the last post I had ,you words were a comfort to me.

Hey Cowboy,
Yes it is that way. When you get that depressed, it is hard to feel feelings towards anybody, especially yourself. I am sure that she doesn't mean to hurt you. It is the disease.
I truly feel that once she gets better that she will be able to love again. She will see that you sincerely care and I am sure that she will care about
you too. If she doesn't, then you deal with that when you get there. But I don't foresee that. Though I don't know her, it is just from what you have posted. But try to be optimistic about
it. Don't borrow sorrow. You are dealing with enough as it is, try to put that out of your mind.
I am so happy that she called the doctor, she is taking the first steps to getting well. Be patient, like I said, this does take time. But you should start seeing gradual progress once she gets on the medications.
Best wishes to you
Hugs, Karen

Karen thank you for the kind words. It is some kinda of rollercoaster. Last week she called me to take me and my son out to dinner one evening, all I can do is be strong, supportive ,and hope.
