Dear Kitt,  My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.  I am so sorry your sister is having so much pain.  It seems unfair that all this is happening.  You are right about taking one day at a time.  That is all you can do, is help for this one particular day.  I know that God is watching out for your family and take comfort in knowing He is carrying you now. Please take care of yourself too.  It is important for you to maintain your health too.Thinking of you and wishing for the best.

Thank you Aurora, your words mean a lot to me and I am working on taking care of me as I come here and talk to all of you.  Thisis my life line and my own private place to say how I feel knowing members will understand.

kitt, sis is in the best place, u must be exhausted. sending heaps of luv to u both. take care. my prayers are sent along with the communities prayers. luv and kindness, jamiee & buttons.

Update.............

They took 2 liters of fluid off my sister's abdomen last evening so she is able to breathe easier................which means decreased pain also.  That is good news.

I am so thankful for you never ending prayers.

Kitt:  I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of you and praying for you and your sister.  I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this is for all you to go through.

Good Morning,

Brief update, I will be uptown today as my sister is in a lot of pain and they will be starting her chemo today.  I will post when I can.

Kitt,

I'm sorry to hear that your sister is suffering with so much pain. I realize you will be reading this after your visit to the hospital, so I hope that things went as well as can be expected, and that you were able to offer her some comfort with your loving presence. I also hope you will be able to get some rest and comfort for yourself this evening. You and your family are in my prayers, as always.

Hi, Kitt. We all hope that the chemo went well yesterday. The treatment is tough to bear, and it is wonderful that you can be there for your sister.

Hope you get some rest. The caregivers need care, too.

Thank you Raniah and Happy Easter to you.  I will be going uptown today to try to bring some cheer to my sister and my niece.

Prayers are truly welcomed for my sister.

You are all so wonderful here in this forum yet you take the time to support me when you have your own overwhelming problems.

I don't follow this forum regularly - I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and brother.  This has to be such a difficult time for you.  Sending postive thoughts and encouragement to you and your niece.

Thank you all and I want to tell you my latest update on my sister, Bev is posted in A & P:

The prognosis now is very poor and I am sad but I know I have to let her go and find peace.  Each day she remains with us is a gift but she is tired and she took a huge emotional blow today as she thought the new chemo was a cure.  The Doctor told her no, it was just to help her live longer but the cancer will not go away now.

She has fought hard and wanted so much to beat this disease but it is not going to happen.....................I will let you read the rest in A & P if you choose.

You have all been wonderful and I thank you for your continued support and the love you have offered to all of us.

Thank you Raniah.

To my Family here in the Depression Forum.  My sister died last night so my story is over and I want to thank each of you for your loving support through the past 10 months.  Bev fought all the way but the cancer won in the end.

She was brave and gentle and she is now at peace.  It is those of us left behind that suffer now.  I cry but I will be OK .  I have depression but this is not depression I feel today but grief.

I will miss her forever.
