hi guys, have crystals all over my house, and some i wear. will ask my sis, who works in a large crystal shop 4 some amber, amber helps ease depression, well this is one thing that worked for me, hence i will ask for a peice/necklace/and or ring. thought that i would see if it has helped others, so pls let me know, massive fan of the healing and perceptual powes of crystals. post replies. cheers, jamie

Hey Jamie,

I am a firm believer in healing stones. I love Amber. It is petrified tree resin. If you rub it, you can smell it.

Glad that you are into crystals too.

Hi Jamie, I have a piece of galenite (some call it galena) that I purchased for its healing properties. It is supposed to be good for emotional grounding, especially if you have been through the wringer emotionally speaking, and it also balances our male and female energies (the yin and the yang). I love amber, too.....it's so beautiful, and so rich in colour. I have an amber fragrance charm that I bought in India many years ago, and it still smells wonderful. Another favourite stone of mine is rose quartz.....good for self-love and all affairs of the heart.

We have Herkimer Diamonds in New York. That is what I saw on the tv anyway. I think I have a piece of Galena too. I got it from some people that got some stones in the west. I love crystals. I have a book on the healing powers. I don't know what is my favorite though. I have a piece of rose quartz. I use to make jewelry out of semi prescous stones and silver wire. I still have a lot of it. I like a lot of black. Black onyx is one of my favorite. I use to use a lot of what is called tuxedo agate. It is black with white like lines in it. I guess that it would be called banded.

excellent guys, yeah i am aware of the ny herkimer. gave my rose quartz to my gf. have fools gold, peacock ore, citrine agate, agate geode, jade, onyx and a few others. u should see the crystals in my sisters room! when i go down there is always new additions, has massive cave peices and some real rare peices too. i think i will go the amber ring, yeah she makes her own jewellery too. oh, i have some canadian amyethest. after a peice of black star, pure, hard to get here in australia. peace, jamie

That is so cool. I have a huge piece of amythist too. I broke little crystals off of it and made necklaces out of it. Wire wrapped it with silver. I also have an unusual piece of Jade that my daughter gave me. I want to make something out of it but am afraid to cut it. It is pretty big. I like the geodes too. I like to look at them through the jewelers loop. It looks like you are in a cave.

Hi Jamie, I believe in the healing powers of crystals, too. In fact, I think anything that has meaning for us can help to heal us. You're a wonderful and caring person, and I'm glad you are looking into alternative methods of lifting your spirits. Hang in there.
