Hello... I'm new to this site.  Does anyone have any information on getting off Wellbutrin?  Withdrawals, or how long they last?

First off, Welcome to Healing Well! As to the withdrawal period, I think that varies person to person. For me, it was two and a half days, but I was only on it for 3-4 months before I went off it. Perhaps others will come along to share their experiences, but I would encourage you that if you are concerned that it is too unpleasant or taking too long that you should talk with your prescribing physician to see if there isn't something to help ease your symptoms.

dear rdn.

i have been on a lot of meds over the years, anti-deps, anti-psychs, maois, mood stabilisers, etc. slow and steady. frances is correct, do so with a management plan with your doc.

Hello,

A good taper schedule for Wellbutrin is to cut your dose by 1/2 for a week, then 1/2 your dose for another week and keep going until you are on the lowest dose possible.

The last week should be every other day at lowest dose, then stop.

Please do check in with your physician as I am not a professional.  This is just my opinion.
