I've felt like life was worthless. Like I couldn't do anything. Already skinny, I lost 10 pounds. I was unable to function, couldn't go to classes, and almost dropped out.

With therapy, appropriate medication and diet modification (yes, your diet may be causing your depression) and exercise, things will get better. They will. They will.
There is someone out there who will fall in love with you, if there isn't already. There is so much beauty in the world, so much hope, and even in the darkest of times there is hope. When the world is drenched in our despair, when there is no hope, the sight of the a single ray of sun can remind us what is out there.
That there is good. That there is beauty. And love.
