Long distance relationship issue.

I am an 18 year old girl and I love in Alabama. My boyfriend, who is 19, lives in Kansas. I met him about 5 months ago, but we've only been together for about 2. I haven't gotten to see him in real life yet, but I really want to. Recently, we started discussing seeing each other. He decided that he wanted to see me this weekend. He has a job and a car, I do not. So we decided that he was going to come here. Well he asked his mother (because he still lives with his parents) if he could come here. She said no because it was too far of a drive (11 hours) just to see me for a few days. He was a good son and didn't argue the subject. HOWEVER, this hurt my feelings because I feel like if someone really wants something bad enough, they should really try for it. I just don't know what to do. I mean, I don't want him to get in trouble with his parents, but it's really hard not to see someone you love, not to even know what it feels like to touch them. I just need him here I feel like. I'm so lost, I don't know what to do. Help?

I think that he is respecting his parents wishes. He is still living at home and maybe they still make the rules. Though I can see your point though. But he might be depending on them for things, and really doesn't want to make waves.

I liked the above suggestion. Maybe you could meet in the middle somehow. But for now, you have him online anyway. And pleanty of time to get to continue knowing eachother. So it is still all good. Have patience. It shouln't be long before you get to meet him.
