I posted a week or two ago that I was meeting with a physc about my depression. I am on Zoloft and have been for 10 yrs. Lately, have been having feelings of sadness that come and go. We talked about if needed we will add on Abblify but he wants to try increasing my Zoloft med first as he said a lot of people get cured when they get on the proper dosage. I have to do it slowly a little increase every week as my stomach gets sensitive to it. 10 days ago my asst and I got the stomach flu and were very very sick. We still feel achy, dizzy, and get stomach aches from eating and crampy. We were told we have a virus and it would just have to wear it's course. I was told this could last 2-3 weeks. Has anyone been through this? Is the end near? It is really depressing to be dealing with it this long. Ugh... Thanks

There was a virus going around here that lasted a long time like that too.  I haven't heard of anything lately.  But a lot of my coworkers had it.  I had gotten a flu shot and haven't caught anything as of yet.  Hopefully wont.  But last year I did have a bout of brohchitis in the spring and a virus.  But the shot usually covers me throughout the most of the winter. 

I hope that you feel better soon.  I started taking abilify about a year ago and still have good results from it.  I hope that if the zoloft doesn't work for you that the abilify does.

Thanks guys. I am curious as to if anyone has increased their zoloft from 150 to 200 and had good results? I will be so glad when this virus is gone. It's just yuck....
