I am very depressed - crying - lost job

First, I'm so sorry that you lost your job as it is so difficult to have an illness and then to lose a job that helps support you. I know all to well about depression as I suffer from it myself and when I first came here I was so scared. I've been out of work for awhile now and I was very depressed today because once again didn't get a job I had applied for. They keep saying the economy is going to get better, any I hope it does. I think depression and the economy go in hand. Do you have any family or friends you can lean on of course you can always come here and we will listen I'm sure there are some good people here that will help. Stay in touch and keep posting even when you don't feel up to it. every little thing helps.....I hope that your ssI case comes through..... :

I am terribly sorry about your job. But as was stated above, things are suppose to get better. You may have to get ahold of human resources and apply for some help for the time being, but it is out there. Be your own advocate right now. and don't give up. Things will come around.

I am finally back on-line. I just got hooked up today. Thanks to everyone for their support.

HARA

Well my son and I are moved into our new very quiet appartment on the ground floor. It has a washer and dryer so I don't have to go outside and down some stairs to the laundry facility. The Department of Social and Health Services is giving me 30 days more or less to have my DR fill out a medical form telling them how much and what I can do and can not do with my disabilities. I was floored. I also heard through the grapevine that they might even help me with getting SSI to. I for whatever works right now. That's what I'm doing. I am slowly getting things unpacked. I used a U-Haul one day with a little extra help. Then it broke down the next day. Then I highered Starving Students (moving company) and they helped me get the rest of the boxes and dinning room table out. Then all that was left was for me and my son to do and it took us three extra days to go back and forth in the car with stuff. My son was such a big help and I'm very proud of him eventhough he had a very big bruise on the bottom of his right foot. It's better now.
