I suffer from anxiety and depression and have for some time. I had been going to a doctor who was prescribing medication which seem to help tremedously, however, I have no health insurance anymore and have really been depressed for the past two weeks, hardly even being able to get out of bed and function. I did a research online regarding ordering xanax, which I was on, and it looks as if you can just order it with no problems on some of these sites. Although I used the extended release xanax and cannot find that anywhere. Has anyone out there tried ordering from any of these sites and are they legite and for real? I appreciate any information on this.

WElcome to HealingWell. I am glad that you have joined us. I am skeptical of ordering meds on line, thought it is probably lagitamate. I am just scared.

I have taken xanax for years, but have never tried extended release. So I am not familiar with that. Often you can get ahold of the drug companies and get discounts. You might want to give that a try. I think Phiser does it, but not sure. I know that I have one med that I can get my co-pay cut in half, but I have to go through the doc to do that. I haven't tried it yet. But it is for the endurance of taking the medication.

Often the docs have samples too. Ask your doctor about that. I hope that you are able to get the meds that you need.

The honest, legal online sites still need a prescription. If you order from other sites, you can't be sure what you're getting is the real drug, unadulterated. But of course, that's up to you. I would follow jamie's advice and look for a clinic with free or reduced fee doctors. You still need treatment.
