We have what is called Koffee Klatch on the fibromyalgia forum.  And the question of the day was what would your perfect weekend be like.  So I thought that I would  start a thread asking what would your favorite day be like.  This is all in the imagination.  Write what your favorite day be like in your mind. 

Mine would be the grandkids coming over and us having a cook out.  Then we would go over to the park where I would play on the toys with the younger kids and the older ones would fly kites.  Then we would go back to the campfire and roast marshmallows.  This is all in my imagination, nothing ever goes that smoothly but I can dream can't I? 

Tell me what your favorite day would be like for you.

Hi Siobahn,

It is good to see you on the forum again. I hope that all is going well for you.

I got a new puppy in March. She is a handful. Trying everything I can to get her not to bite. She is teething. She is a german shepherd named Jasmine. So cool.

mine, a nice spring day, somewhere along the coast, quiet and nice, with my lady on a picnic rug watching the sea in a loving embrace. jamie.

Yeah Jasmine is a hand ful. She has a lot chew toys, nylabones, kongs and tugs and such. But she still wants to get into the things that she shouldn't. She is teething pretty bad right now.

I am sorry that you have had so much on your plate lately. I hope that things are easier for you now. Being depressed is such a drain on us. Any mental and emotional problems is hard to live with. But it sounds like you are getting the right treatment so that is good. Keep trying and keep moving forward. Know that we are all here behind you.

She is housetrained, though she does have an accident now and then. She can sit now and slap five. Thanks for writing. I unfortunately love talking about her. I am really proud of her so far. She was the runt of the litter so I don't know how big she will get. But that is okay.

My perfect day...a quiet beach (Florida coast maybe) if I had to choose some place close. The breeze rolling off the waves, sun setting. Could possibly be on the deck of a beach house. Massage table set up, Candles lit all around. Getting the perfect massage....white chocolate covered starwberries chilled near by.

Hi Siobhan,

Thanks for the uplifting post. I am at my wits end today with the pup. She is a sweetheart but learning faster than I can teach her. She gets a little rough with my older dog and with me. Loves to use them teeth. So I had to put her in her crate for a while. I will walk her later on and burn up some of the energy. She did really good on her walk yesterday we went all the way around the block. It was cute. Some days I just don't have much energy though to keep her challenged. She seems to be a high energy dog, though she was the quietest when she was with the litter, but she got picked on so that is probably why. I really enjoyed your post. Thank you. You do have a way of makeing a person feel better, which you did for me. Having a rough day today. Hopefully when I get moving around it will be better. Bless you Siobhan

One of Jasmine's sisters is being returned to the breeder because she is too agressive with other people. I hope that Jasmine does not get that way.

For starters, I'd be well and not on an antibotic...it would be a low pain day and I'd
be at a cross-stitch place with some friends, just having a nice leisurly day of
cross-stitching then eating dinner at a nice place and then spending some time in a
hot whirlpool alone with my husband...and then getting a good's night rest sleeping
away...oh wow....

Lunch at the Italian restaurant on Shoal Bay West, in Anguilla (won't list the name, because I don't want this to seem like advertising, but you know the place if you have been there) -- listening to the opera music and looking out at the ocean -- followed by a walk on the beach and a swim in the ocean. (And during the entire day, not thinking at all about the issues that have caused me so much anxiety for the past month!)

My perfect day is simply being with my true love flora. I cannot think of anything better, So much love, it feels so good to be in love, so much joy, it is too good to explain. The only thing better is when she tells me she loves me, such a simple thing, but so profound, hapiness, love, this is my perfect day.
