I'm not moving out of state like I wanted. But I am moving out of my mothers house. I'm allowing my best friends former user boyfriend to come live with us. But he has to stay clean and if he falls off the wagon I boot him out. I know I can't live alone for my own mental health which is why I'm making this allowance. I'm going to live in the same city as my mother in law who is very kind and understanding. I know she will help me if I need it. I tend to try and do things on my own though.

I'm very stressed and trying hard to keep things on the bright side. I'm trying hard to not let all the bad things get to me. I wont see my husband for a year it looks like. That upsets me the most. Somehow I have to finish high school and over come the anxiety I feel when I'm around people or I'll never get a job. Right now though all I feel is pain and its hard to get past it and do what needs to be done. So I'm just sitting looking for apartments and waiting to see if that boyfriend of hers is willing to quit drugs to be with her.

Secretly I hope he goes to jail before he can make that choice...

Hi Mania_Saee,

I hate to say it, but letting the boyfriend move in could be more of a hassle than it is worth.  There has been a recent person on the forum in the same situation as you, only the guy drank, and they are having a hard time getting rid of him now.  Is he working?  Is he going to help with rent and utilities?  Please make sure he is doing that.  You could end up with a real problem on your hands.

I am glad that you have your MIL close by for comfort and support.  Are you going to any counseling?  I cannot remember if you have said you are or not.  But you could probably use the extra support.  Will you get to see your husband in between now and a year from now?  It would be nice if you could.
