Heeja Warspite,
Perhaps you can share some more? How long since you had that argument? What is your background?
Having a fight with someone you care for is always hard, and if you don't talk about
it the aftermath might linger for a long time. With me, the more at comfort I am in a group, the better I fit in. If I feel self conscious or have something that happened or I am stressed out for I find it very hard to stay with the subject and feel alone as well.
May I ask how long this is going on? Cause if it is three days since you two split up, it is kind of normal to be a bit low. But if this has a history that goes back further, it might be something worth seeing a counselor for. Since this is a depression channel, I want to ask, are you depressed? Or is this more of a blow you want to share without the weeks of sadness and tears that are usually associated with depression? If you are here to vent without having depression, it is fine by me
, but I guess it is good to know how severely this is impacting you and your mood.
Feel free to share more, and don't worry war, things will work out. Perhaps make some nice things for yourself, or go out for dinner with a close friend or something that can help you take your mind off of this. If you are really struggling, perhaps you can find someone to share your thoughts with. Don't worry if you aren't comfortable with sharing them at the moment, most people are in the beginning since it makes you vulnerable. But that will become easier. Besides the relief of venting it can also increase the strength of the bond you have with someone, so it might be worth giving a try!
All the very best,
Erik
