Wellbutrin dosage question

Hello I started taking Wellbutrin 3 weeks ago and I take 75mg twice a day and it isnt doing much for me. Would 1 1/2 pills twice a day help? I see my dr in two weeks but that seems like forever!

It takes antidepressants four to six weeks to reach their full potential. Give it some more time. about the time you see your doctor, you will have reached that time limit, then you will know better if it is working for you. I had good results with wellbutrin. It gave me energy and I could think good.

Hello,  I would suggest you call your physician to see if you should increase the dose this soon ? I take 150 mg per day, also, but had to give the  medication a good 6-8 weeks for the full therapuetic effect to kick in.

Thank you for the replies! :) I know that your supposed give it 4-6 weeks I guess I am just impatient lol. Everyone I know that has tried it loved it and they felt a difference within a few days. For me the first week and half on it I noticed a difference but now I am back to feeling how I did before I took it.

That sounds like you need the dose increase like Kitt recommended. Talk to the doc and see. I got a little nervous with too high of a dose and couldn't sleep. But hopefully that wont happen to you. I loved the way it made me think so sharply.
