cymbalta and trazadone

Has anyone tried both cymbalta and trazadone? I use valium and ambien for sleep and would like to try trazadone and also go back on Cymbalta although it made me nausea because I just can't stand the way I feel now. Depression has been a long standing problem and I've been on different medications over the years. I've been trying St. John's Wort lately and it's just not working.

Trazodone works well for me for me as I take it at bedtime and sleep very well. 

Cymbalta,  I took this med for almost a year but it did not work well for me.  That does not mean it won't work for you.

Please discuss these options with your physician.

Hi Caregiver: Until a couple of months ago I had been on both Trazodone and Cymbalta. I had been on them together for 2 years. I found both to be lifesavers for me. I currently am off Cymbalta as it did not seem to be working for me anymore, but it did work for awhile and I am/was grateful for that.

also gone off cymbalta. have you tried mirtazipine? a little sedating. am using it as a trial 2 the copious amounts of seroquel. with compassion, jamie
