Have you thought about
asking the coucilor to talk to your parents for you? Its a very tough thing to get this out, maybe he/she can break the ice with your parents. This can sometimes
open the lines of comunication and you can avaoid the confrontation aspect of it. Its nothing to be ashamed of, its a serious health problem. Hopefully if you can get your parents involved you can get into therapy, it really helps
PS - just a view on seeking help from clergy, i don't generally think this is helpful, IN MY EXPERIENCE, this DOES NOT MEAN that i think its a bad idea or there arn't clergy that are very good at couciling. But i generally feel like they place blame on you, mostly because they think you are feeling this way because you arn't living the ""insert religion here" lifestyle. We know its much more than that.
