I was on Zyprexa and gain alot of weight. My doctor put me on Abilify will it help to lose the weight? Is it better to drink the Abilify in the mornings or in the evenings?

Welcome to the HealingWell Depression Forum! I am glad that you have joined us.

I have been on abilify for a couple of years now and haven't noticed any weight gain. But we all react differently. I take it in the mornings. With all of my other meds. I am also on pristiq and xanax.

I hope that the abilify works well for you. It usually only takes a week or to to notice results.
