Anyone here on adderall?

I am not sure if this question belongs here on the anxiety forum.  I started taking Adderall again after a week and a half off per drs orders and taking 40m mg time release.  I took again for the first time yesterday morning around 9am.  All day I was very focused and buzzing from one activity to another, running errands and feeling good.  I was up til 11 ish looking things up and organizing things and did not get to bed until midnight.  I could not sleep all night.  I could not stop my mind from racing and as a result haven't slept or fell asleep only to wake up again.  I tried everything but my question is do you think that this is a result of starting the Adderall again and if so, how long will it last?  I would like to sleep and it messes up my Fibro when I don't sleep.  Sorry for being long winded.  Hope everyone has a good day and keep smiling.

I take adderall during the day and ambien to sleep at night. They both work good. I have fibromyalgia also and do need my sleep too. So I know how it feels. I have never tried the time release capsules. Always have taken the generic quick release. The orange ones. I think once you get back use to it, you will be able to sleep, but I would ask the doc about something like ambien until then. What time of the day are you taking it? I take mine first thing in the morning and then about two. But mine only last about four hours.
