waiting for appointment for urologist

 good morning everybody  sitting here typing as u know i made a appointment with a  urologist as the time gets closer the anexiety an fear is so extrem even the clonazepam is not workingmy mind is working overtime 24 hours a day   an my biggest problem ia i surfted  the web an all it tells me  according to my systems i either have bladder or prostate cancer an i think my worse fear is coming true just to tell u alittle about my self i have an extrem phobia for surgery an hosiptals  dont now what i would do if it came  true is there any one out there with the same problem an can tell me how to cope

Have you ever tried meditation? It really does calm the mind. You should practice it. If you surf the web, you will find ways of meditation. I think it would help you. Also take it one day at a time. Focus on what you are doing instead of worrying about what is to come. This comes with practice too, but you need to give your mind a rest. A lot of people over think. But you have control of your thinking and with practice that too will come.

One day at a time. Remember that.

The internet is out to inform, wasn't meant to harm, but it sure can scare a person...
Try to stay positive, there is a good outcome should it be cancer and there is a forum here
for that if you need it, but don't jump the gun yet..it could all be nerves and I'll be saying
prayers and well wishes for you and do keep us posted...

had 2 urlological surgeries, 1 was a biggy. not a fan of sugery or hospitals either. let them know at pre-op, they will guide you. with healing compassion, jamie. agree about not jumping the gun.
