I am really proud of how everybody supports everybody else so well.  And I am also proud to be a part of this forum. 

I hope that the continued support keeps going on.  As we have been getting a lot of newbies lately.  People that are scared and insecure come here for support and to learn assertiveness.  Getting responses from us helps because we have been there and done that.  And I am sure that the older members can sympathize with the newer ones.  That gives us room to share with eachother.

What I am concerned about is I have noticed some argueing going on and it is taking away form the poster's threads.  Let's try not to do this, and continue support for the origional poster of the particular thread.  I know that this can be done.  If somebody is posting something any particular member doesn't like, I suggest putting that poster on ignore.  This is done by clicking on the thumbs down icon on the poster's post.  Let's not argue anymore and keep this a safe and good forum to come to.  We are in the top ten of the nation and we need to stay there.  This forum can be very helpful to those looking for direction in their lives.

You say that your good advice to others should cancel out your arguing, but it doesn't. I want to know that members feel safe here. Not that they are going to be critisized for making a mistake. It can be corrected without nit picking or arguing. You can always agree to disagree as stated in the rules. You can put your side of it without a confrontation. And the two members who have recently left didn't deserve to feel that they should have to leave on account of you. That is why I suggested Crackles ignore your posts. But he left instead.

You have your opinion, I have mine. But as long as this continues, I will continue to edit and post the rules.

Karen...I don't think some people understand what kind of devotion and WORK it takes to moderate these forums.  It is a volunteer position that takes up a great deal of time and effort.  Moderator's should NEVER feel like they are under-appreciated nor should they be attacked.  Moderators have bad days also and that should be recognized.

I appreciate what you do...just sayin'! yeah yeah yeah
