just back from my sisters 40th. firstly i am real proud of myself for having the nuts to attend. there were around 50 people.......some blasts from the pasts, some new-a lot and some i new. it was a nice pub with a nice ambeince. i had plenty to drink, even hit the dance floor with the ladies a few times. was good times. we had nibblies, then pizza and beautiful cake. everyone was relaxed and it was enjoyable talking with everyone. mum despite her bells palsy had a blast, she is staying with me, i have given her my bed. everyone took cabs and left the cars in the parking area, good job!! there was a mechanical bucking bull, seeing people riding it and falling and being tossed of was cool. my sis really enjoyed her night, i am pleased. and i am pleased that i did so well. even wore my teeth and kept them in the whole night, yeah even ate with them in. weird man, but i will get use to it. bad thing: i had a smoke which led to another to me buying a pack from the ciggie machine. oh well, **** happens. good night. am wound up, when i sleep...............who knows. luv ya's, jamie

That sounds like a blast!!! Don't beat yourself up for ciggies...AA says progress not perfection...I cannot have an alcoholic drink without a cig, they taste good then...

I dread those social affairs but some you have to go to, and I always end up having a good time. Are you worn out? Wait a minute I looked at time stamp, you just closed the pub, you rascal!!! Get some sleep-so nice to hear you so effervescent

haven't been to bed yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting ready now. i toss and turned on the couch last night but i didn't sleep. been a long 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had my night shower. taken my pills, just need to check my sugars and take a night needle and tablet. have a good day 2 u all. got my therapist early tomorrow, monday, 11am. so good night and many nice zzzzzz's to you all. luv ya's jamie

Glad you got thru this, that was important...You made it thru a family function, YEAH...
One small leap is good....now I hope you can get some rest and get to your therapist on time...

that i can see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! going to check sugars. had a hypo earlier, thus i did not take oral meds nor the insulin. should be good now. jamie
