Today is Dec.1 already...jeepers time fly's. 24 days until Christmas and I am going out for lunch with a friend and then we are going to toy's r us so I can spoil my 2 grandsons'. I really enjoy Christmas now that I have little ones around.
It is cold and dreary out...I miss the sunshine
I hope everyone has a good day.
Take care, Amy

Maggie, thanks for update on your husband. Sounds like good news to me. Your home sounds beautiful...but a lot of work, as you mentioned.
Karen, shopping at Walmart is on my list, too. Not looking for xmas stuff, just vitamins and other supplies. Wonder what the best time of day would be to avoid the crowds (and crying children) ?
Time to shower and have another coffee. No
cookies here, though...waaah.
p.s. We have wind chimes, too. Usually take them down this time of year, but decided to keep them up this winter. We'll see.

Hello all, finished work, I caught the train home. I was reading to try and relax and someone was on their cell phone speaking loud, I thought about
saying something then I decided it was just easier to leave the carriage, and i felt better. In the courts today we had to wresltle an inmate to the ground who was non compliant. I am feling tired, will go to sleep soon.

Hi Beagleman. What is the prison you work at. Medium or maximum? My first husband worked at the lower one, they were allowed work release. There were crews of workers that the guys had to take out. But I remember my first husband saying that the prisoners were easier to get a lon g with than the staff some of the time. lol... Just wondered what your situation was. It is a truly stressful job. I am proud that you can handle it. keep posting.
Hugs, Karen

Sunday... and another (partial) work day for me. I'll be SO glad when we get all our orders shipped...aiming for them all to be outta here this week.
We work on Christmas product all year long. No wonder by the time the holiday arrives, it's hard to get into the spirit, but I try.

Celebrating..I'm 17 since today. Only one who remembered was my grandmother, but at least something. Went out with my dog, bought chips, soda and watched some movies...fine celebration.

Hi Fox...
Today is my girlfriend's birthday too. Happy Birthday. I am glad that you made the most of it and had fun anyway. What kind of dog do you have? I have a german shepherd dog. I love her so much. I usually walk her everyday, but it has been raining here and we haven't gone out in a few days. Suppose get colder, so I imagine it is going to snow. Yuck... Oh well, it is unavoidable. Better than rain too.

Well, I dont even know what kind it is, its this street type mixed dog :D...he aint too big neither. Bad thing is that he's almost 14 years old..There's snowing like hell for almost week already. German shepherd is a beautiful kind of dog.

I imagine as long as you and your dog get along, it really doesn't matter what kind it is. I was always into the different breeds so I would always try to figure it out. 14 is getting up there. I had one dog live to 15. But smaller dogs live longer than bigger dogs most of the time. So you may still have a few more years with your pet.
We have been lucky, we don't have snow yet, but I know people in a couple of states over who have a lot of snow. I am in Michigan. Northern, lower. They got snow south of us last week, but we lucked out. We didn't get much and it melted. It is a hard winter here. I hope it goes by fast and is mild. That would be a blessing.
I hope that you are feeling better today. Keep posting. Know we all care about
you FoX123.

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I was gone to visit my mom for a week so i've missed what's going on with everyone.
So has anyone had snow yet where you live? We are having such mild weather lately here in Ontario. I do wish for some snow though. I love taking walks when it is snowing out.
I did have a nice visit at my mom's. I had been having some rough days and there is nothing better than a mom to help you feel better.
Hope you are all doing well and getting in the Christmas spirit.

It was a work day. Near the end of the day I noticed it was the best I've felt in weeks! I wonder if it was my healing meditations or Bach Flower remedies that worked. I was more focused on tasks and less clock focused. The work day went by so much faster. That's a good thing!

Hi Jamie, how have you been doing lately? feeling any better? I'm sorry I missed posting on the day of your anniversary loss of your dear Geogia. I am glad you are trying to keep happy for her as that is what she would want you to do. May i ask what she passed away from? I hope you are getting some good sleep.
Hi Maggie, how are things going for you? I hope good.
Where is our dear Joyce?
And good morning to you Karen.
Artblue, so glad you had a good day. Hope it continues for you.
My headaches are so bad. I am sure I moaned and groaned all night long. This pain is wearing me down, but I have to keep on going.
Hope everyone has a nice day. Anyone have snow yet where they live.

Hey
I think Joyce is really busy with Christmas orders.she said she hoped to finish up shipping and all this week...I don't know how she does it all!!!
I'm doing pretty well, Suzanne..my husband said he has seen a positive change since I started cymbalta, so I have high hopes for a good New Year.
Sorry to hear about
your headaches...the bad ones are a real show-stopper..I hope they let up...this time of year is stressful enough...go easy on yourself
Take care everyone
Maggie

Hi everybody,
I am so happy to say that the sun is finally shining today. It is still cold, but better than cloudy. I got sick of cloudy days. So this is refreshing.
Hugs to all of you...

Glad to hear things are looking up for you Maggie. I am on three antidepressants and I still have ups and downs. Although my depression is due to my chronic pain. The headaches are not a new thing, I have been suffering constant severe headaches for over eleven years. I have tried and done it all to no avail. I just keep ice packs on my forehead to freeze the pain. And even then the pain is still bad. I have been resting for most of the day.
Lots of sun here too Karen, although it is minus 8 C.
Hope everyone has a nice evening.
My grandkids are coming tonight so that will cheer me up.

Oh Jamie, I'm sorry. I didn't want to pry.
Always here to talk if you need to.
Maggie, I'm glad the cymbalta is working for you. Is it helping with your fibro too?
Karen, I'm glad that you had sunshine today. It was sunny here also and very pretty. Just cold- 25 degrees. Hope you're doing well! Oh, I almost forgot I have a question for you. Will email you.
And hi Suzane, I'm new to this forum. Hope to get to know you more :)

I didn't see an email address in your profile. That is the only way I can get it. I have an email address in my profile, just click on my name besides my post and it will take you to it. I am always
open to questions. So shoot me an email if you want to.
Hugs, Karen
