Doxycycline Completed Suicide

My 13 year old committed suicide 31 days ago after taking doxy for 1 year for acne. The investigators can find no other cause than the doxycycline, it was not planned of thought out, it was impulsive. Please Read Sign and SHare our petition to make the FDA require every prescription must be accompanied by a VERBAL warning from your doctor AND pharmacists.

I am so sorry to hear this. This is terrible. I hope that you are doing okay. Did you go to any grief counseling? It really helps to get through things. This is a terrible loss. And I am sorry that the medication caused this. There should be warnings.

I hope that you are coping with this okay. Though I am sure that is very difficult.
