An Overdose of Meds

Hi

My depression got the better of me yesterday and I may have took more tablets than I needed for my pain (from my accident).

I ended up taking 15 Tramacet (pain tablet), 7 Beserol (pain and muscle) and 7 Mydocalm (muscle relaxtant) for one dose.

Not sure why I took them because I know these tablets does not cause death. However, it did make me sick with dizziness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, tiredness, etc. Guess my depression just took over and I wasn't thinking when I took them.

I know it will take a while for the medicine to be out of me. Just wondering if there's anyway or anything I can use to flush these tablets out of my system so I can feel better faster?

I think that by now the only thing is time. I have to say, that I really don't understand why you took so much. If the medication isn't working for you, let the doctor know and they can adjust it or put you on something stronger. Don't abuse your medication. That is very dangerous. As you saw. The only thing I can recommend it so drink a lot of water. Promise me that you aren't going to do this again. Please...

We worry about you and we need to know that you are going to be okay. Take medications as prescribed. Thank you...

Thanks for the advice.

The medications are helping me with my when when I use them as prescribed. However, I was feeling really sad, alone and hopeless when I just took them. I was depressed and started crying and couldn't stop. I would usually turn to physical harm but instead I took all the tablets I had remaining from my last prescription. I was just fed up of life and really frustrated. It's all I have been feeling lately.

You really need to talk to somebody. Somebody with empathy and support. I would talk to the doctor and see about getting on something better than what you are taking. It is obvious you are asking for help in your way. Please seek some out. We can't discuss self harm here, so I can't say anything about that. Email me if you need to talk. 15 x Tramacet means that you took 4875mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol) in that drug alone. doses past 4000mg cause liver damage. I would go to the hospital and get checked out if I were you to make sure you are okay with everything that you took. The Beserol combination is another 2100mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol). So in total you took 6975mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol), which is closing in on the severe toxic threshold of 12,000mg that an adult will require immediate medical attention.

YOU REALLY NEED TO WATCH YOUR TYLENOL INTAKE! An overdose of Tylenol is a drawn out miserable and painful way to go, don't do that to yourself!
