It's our 52nd wedding anniversary today. How time flies! 

(I'll tell John later,  when he gets back from his trip). 

Chore for today is to get topical flea med on my cat. 

He recognizes the container and runs like blazes. 

Poor scaredy cat....

Okay Joyce, that was cute... I hope you have enough ciggies to get through till John comes home. I use to roll them, but couldn't find mild enough tabacco that was satisfying. I smoke Marlboro light 100's most of the time. I gave up on the rollies. Plus can't roll them well. We tried pipe tabacco which a lot of people use, but I still couldn't hack it. I don't smoke a lot, less than a pak a day. Thank God, use to smoke two. Or more...

Keep posting, we will keep you company until John gets home. lol... We are here for you... Always remember that.

Rollies are so much cheaper. And here if you use the pipe tobacco you don't have all that extra tax on it. Ciggies and alcohol have a lot of tax on them, gas too. They get you where it hurts.

No, you didn't forget the good wishes earlier, Karen. Glad my naughty 'thought' didn't get me in too much trouble.

I want to thank you all for wishing me (us) a 'happy'. John and I met at work. Our fellow employees gave us only a few months...wish I could reach them now to let them know how mistaken they were!

Karen, sometimes my cigarette tubes ripped too. Had to do with the rubber thing a ma bob...(whatever it's called) that holds the tube in place. Either faulty, or some debris on it. That's cheaper to replace than the whole machine, wow!

Yes, hot here...VERY hot expected for the next few days.

Got one deck french door outside panel done on the outside. Now to tackle the second outside while it's still in the shade and semi cool..

My windows can be cleaned from the inside, too. Both top AND bottom. A lot better than previous 1829 two story stone house, where I had to use a ladder!

Don't think we've ever 'spoken' before...but I have read your messages. Sorry about your knee... my husband had replacement on one (needs a 2nd eventually), so I remember his discomfort. Fill me in with your 'problem' if you can.

Yes, I read your posts too but we have never 'spoken' before. Lol. Hope your husband doesn't experience too much pain. Knee replacement sounds painful.

I was involved in a car accident in March of this year. I damaged my knee and and neck. Luckily nothing was broken. My knee received muscle and tissue damaged. It has not completely healed as yet. It's still swollen and fragile so I walk with a limp. My neck vertebra bone straightened on impact of the accident, so I get neck and back pains from time to time. I had a neck brace for approximately three (3) weeks.

Karen: Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely check it out and try it. I'll just have to eat a little more food. Lol. This pain is really unbearable today. Presently, I use muscle relaxants (Mydocalm) and painkillers (Tramacet and Beserol). The doctor did mention to me that I needed to be extra careful since I got hit directly on the bone, and any little hit on the bone can cause Rheumatoid arthritis to develop.

Good Tuesday morning...close to 100º expected today, ugh. Did some yard clean up at dusk yesterday and whacked my eye with a twig... not serious, but still irritated.  Maybe I should just stop doing stuff and sit on my butt at the computer today. CUL ~  Joyce Idle Thoughts Of A   Wandering Mind: ....If I melt dry ice, can I take a bath without getting wet?

The two of us might have a little trouble ‘seeing’ stuff.
