Have you tried some deep slow breathing to center yourself and maybe some mindfulness exercises to keep you in the present.

Mindfulness.org has some good articles if you need a place to start.

Does anyone know anything about the medicine Depakote?

What specifically are you concerned about?  Is this the first time that you have taken medications?  Let us know what your concerns are and we will help you the best that we can.

Try to relax, it takes time to find the right medications, but they are there. I went through quite a few before I found what was right for me. I am sorry for your experiences with meds, but don't give up. Keep trying.

Have you tried effexor? I took it for about 15 years. It worked good.

Let the doc know that you want to find what works for you.

I had to edit your post per policy. You can get try to get some control back while you are adjusting your medications.

During this very frustrating period, I strongly suggest you try mindfulness and/or meditation. These two techniques will calm
and center you during the chaos.

They may even help quiet your mind.

It is not that I don't hear what you are saying about the meds and the doctor. However, there are somethings we can change immediately and some that we have to work towards. Medications are a work towards, and sometimes a huge challange. Don't loose heart!

Then you need the CALL someone LQ! YOU need the call a friend, a family member, a crisis hot line. Can you do that?

In Depression Resources there are some numbers if you need them. Listen to Trina, call somebody and talk to them. There are people out there that really care.
