Hi!! I am new on here. I suffer from major depression and was wondering if any of you are taking Wellbutrin and what you think about
it and have you had any side affects? Thank you.

Hi Bubbley,
Welcome to the forum! I gave your post a subject so people will read and reply to it. I have MDD however, I take Cymbalta and Buspar. I do know people on Wellbutrin with little side effects and positive out come for the depression.
Remember any new script
you are on, needs at least 3 weeks before it really starts to kick in. Communication with your doctor on how you are doing is VERY important.
Stay strong and posting here is a great resource.

Trina!! Thank you so much for your help and making me feel welcome. I have been on it before, but can't remember if it helped or not. I will be patient. Thank you sweetie. Take care. ;)

G'day mates.
Karen, Trina, Jamie, UA, Joyce and everyone else I hope we all have a peaceful, blessed and healthy day.
I've been off the grid but today is a new day. I feel better. Still foggy but the excessive exhaustion has passed. I think the Benedryl with trazadone was a bit much in my paranoia of insomnia.
Bubbley, Wellbutrin use to work for me. But I have SO much anxiety I had to go on Cymbalta.
Dealing with a lot but just can't bring myself to write.
Love to all.

When I took wellbutrin at a high dose, it made me nervous. Do you think that is what is going on with you? I would call the doctor and let them know what is going on.

Hey Karen! I'm taking 150mg and I feel very on edge and aggravated. Like I'm about
to explode. I left message for nurse to call me but I don't even want to take my dose today because of the way it's making me feel. Thank you for responding. :)

Yea, it was a great antidepressant, but high doses made me nervous, aggitated and I couldn't sleep so I went on effexor. But I sure could think good on it. I missed that part. It just wasn't right for me. Maybe they could give you something to relax you and fight the side effects. But you might want to consider switching all together. Let us know what you decide to do. I hope that the doctor calls you back. Can you break them in half and take half of a dose? Or are they the time release kind?
Keep us posted.
Hugs, Karen
